Large crystal fused magnesia is mainly used in high-end basic refractory applications. In refining furnaces, advanced metallurgical furnace linings, premium refractory bricks, high-temperature insulating components, and special refractory products, standard materials often cannot balance high-temperature stability, dense structure, and long service performance at the same time. That is why customers in these segments pay much closer attention to crystal structure, purity, and bulk density.
Kuanxiang large crystal fused magnesia is produced under stricter fused processing control. The product features larger crystals, dense structure, high purity, and strong stability at elevated temperatures, making it more suitable for premium-grade basic refractory systems. For customers aiming at longer service life, stronger corrosion resistance, and higher refractory product quality, this material is often used in more critical and demanding applications.
We currently offer FM96, FM97, FM97.5, and FM98 grades, with MgO content up to 98% and bulk density up to 3.50 g/cm³. It is particularly suitable for customers who have clear requirements for raw material grade and refractory performance, rather than those simply focused on the lowest purchase cost.
