High-purity magnesia is mainly used by refractory manufacturers with stricter requirements for purity and bulk density. For producers of high-end magnesia refractory bricks and monolithic refractories, raw material purity affects not only product quality, but also high-temperature stability, erosion resistance, and consistency in the final refractory products. For that reason, high-purity magnesia is not simply a “higher-specification product,” but a critical raw material in many premium refractory systems.
Kuanxiang high-purity magnesia is produced from selected natural high-grade magnesite ore. After beneficiation and purification, the material undergoes light burning, fine grinding, briquetting, and ultra-high-temperature shaft kiln calcination. The product is characterized by high purity and strong bulk density, making it suitable for high-standard refractory brick production and monolithic refractory applications. For customers, its value lies not only in higher laboratory figures, but also in achieving more stable results during actual manufacturing.
We currently offer grades including DBM-96, DBM-97, and DBM-97.5, with MgO content up to 97.5%. Particle size can be supplied in 0–30 mm. This product is especially suitable for refractory applications that require high purity, good density, and stable performance in demanding working conditions.
